These newly refurbished holiday cottages are situated on an elevated site overlooking Dingle Harbour in County Kerry. Dingle Harbour Cottages is a short 5-minute stroll from Dingle Town on the scenic Dingle Peninsula. In total there are 20 holiday cottages; 14 holiday cottages sleep 6 guests and 6 of our holiday cottages sleep 7 guests comfortably.
The recently renovated kitchen, with its colourful cupboards and new countertops, radiates warmth and cosiness. The ground-level and first-floor bathrooms have also undergone extensive renovations. To create a light and open ambience, each bathroom now includes a walk-in shower and modern ceramic appliances. These well-positioned holiday rentals now have a contemporary, rejuvenated feel.

Double glass sliding doors lead from the living room area to the rear garden. Our younger self-catering guests will enjoy playing games on the large green surrounding this cul-de-sac of holiday accommodation in Dingle. Alfresco dining is an option too as each holiday cottage has a picnic bench situated outside the front door.
Wifi is available within the property.

In some cases, energy is charged at a fixed daily rate or a rate per unit on the units consumed or you are required to top up a Pre-Paid Meter while in others, energy charges are included in the rate you have paid. Please check with the local Owner/ Property Manager before arrival how this is calculated or before making the booking.
2. Security Deposit:
A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid before check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival. In some locations and at certain times of the year this can increase to €500 per property.
3. Towels:
Towel sets are available upon request at a small charge. Please contact our Call Centre or the Property Manager to arrange (you will find the Property Manager's contact details in the Arrival Info document sent to you in the final payment confirmation).
4. Fireplace
Dingle Harbour Cottages (3 Bed - Sleeps 6) Type B have sealed fireplaces that are not in use. Please book Type A if you would like to enjoy a working fireplace.

Set in a horseshoe shape around a large green area these cluster of holiday cottages in Dingle are the perfect base for a group getaway or family holiday in Kerry. These pretty seaside cottages with brightly coloured doors have 3 bedrooms and sleep 6 guests comfortably.Property layout – Ground floor:

Re Non-refundable utility contribution of €40, this seems excessive for a two night stay. I checked the metre over our 2nd 24h period (can send photos) and it seems we only used €4.77, so our total use could not have been more than €15.

This was our 5 time staying in the Cottages. The upgrade was very nice. It is expensive for a Family for a week… while we do get bed linen… we would have to pay for towels… I feel these should be provided as we bring all our own toiletries… dishwasheplus

We loved the location, close to downtown Dingle to quickly walk into town for dinner and groceries. The home is not walking location to a beach but you can walk along the docks where the sailboats park. The house was clean and beds were comfortableplus

It was an easy check in and check out procedure. The detailed information provided prior to check in was amazing. Deirdre was so easy to communicate with a true friendly Kerry welcome. The cottage was a brilliant location, 5 minute stroll to the aquarium, harbour area, supermarket and restaurants/ bars. Can easily leave the car behind. The cottages are very clean and have everything you require for a comfortable stay. Lovely bathrooms and kitchens with comfortable seating areas.
There was a lovely atmosphere with children happily playing on the green spaces of the cottages. Will be looking forward to my next stay and happily recommend to all. |

Check in time of 5.30pm is very late given the check out time is 10am this should be reviewed.
Hair dryer was not in the cottage but was provided when we saw a member of staff in the area. For people travelling from abroad this should be provided inplus

No detailed inventory of what was in the cottage ie plates/pans/cutlery- some of the utensils were very tired. The visibility of the electricity meter put a dampener on the stay, keeping an eye on what we had left on the meter was a daily occurrence. For the rental rate paid it should include electricity without limits- a card system like in a hotel could work where the lights and other items go out when the guest leaves the property. |

A short walk into town (we did it 2 a day with 3 kids, smallest 4) makes everything so accessible. We loved the green spaces for playing around the houses, the safety for the kids being well back from the main road, the kitchen and bathrooms are fab plus

There were rabbits out the back every day which the kids loved to see. The amazing view of DIngle Harbour from the cottages, being able to sit outside and look at the sea and Eask Tower across the harbour. Great to get the discount through Trident on some local attractions to0. Nobody wanted to go home!

The fridge is too small for a house for six self-catering and could do with upgrading.
The dishwasher could also do with upgrading - shelves/cutlery container kept getting stuck.
For self-catering some more serving utensils would have been great.

The upstairs bathroom as a shared bathroom was not practical with the door to the double bedroom - there was no soundproofing at all, so if anyone else used the bathroom the occupants in the double room were disturbed. Not an instant fix, but perhaps replace the ensuite door with a wall at some point. |

Deirdre Murphy was an excellent manager..... both in confirming arrangements. There was a hiccup over bank holiday weekend for overflow car park....which she immediately followed up on. Also our toaster gave up the ghost on our second last day...plus

Houses were cold when we moved in. While the heating was set and we did arrive a little earlier than planned, the beds were a bit damp on the first night due to the cold.
