Moore Bay Holiday Village is located in Kilkee town and close to the town's stunning blue flag beach on the west coast of County Clare. This cluster of seaside holiday homes is the perfect destination for family or group holidays in Ireland. This cluster of seaside holiday homes provides spacious seaside holiday accommodation close to Clare's Wild Atlantic Way. Moore Bay Holiday Village has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 5 guests comfortably:Property layout – Ground floor:

- Patio door leading to the outside dining

Kilkee is a small but vibrant coastal town on the west coast of Ireland, midway between Kilrush and Doonbeg. The town is popular as a seaside resort, surrounded by dramatic scenery and a range of outdoor and indoor activities. Things to do in the local area:- Kilkee Waterworld
- The Loophead Peninsula
- Whale and dolphin watching
- Kilkee Dive Centre - the local surf and kayaking centre
- Nevsail Watersports and Rock Climbing for extreme sports and adventure activities

IMPORTANT NOTES
1. Heating and Electricity:This is an extra charge which is mostly payable to the Property Manager/Owner. In some cases, energy is charged at a fixed daily rate or a rate per unit on the units consumed or you are required to top up a Pre-Paid Meter, while in others, energy charges are included in the rate you have paid. We advise you to check with the local Owner/ Property Manager prior to arrival, how this is calculated or prior to making the booking.
2. Security Deposit:
A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid before check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival, or at other times it is taken on arrival. In some locations and at certain times of year, this can increase to €500 per property.
3. Towels:
Towel sets are available upon request at a small charge. Please contact our Call Centre or the Property Manager to arrange (you will find the Property Manager's contact details at the Arrival Info document sent to you in the final payment confirmation).
4. Internet:
Wi-Fi is available only during the peak season (June, July, and August).

We were the first group staying this year so there were a few things to repair while we were there, safety window latches need repairing, kitchen sink was leaking, light was stuck on in the bathroom, these were fixed at first available opportunity duplus

Stairs are very steep and i would have liked a stairs gate at top of stairs as an additional safety feature with a toddler staying.

Something really small but I think a roll of toilet paper in the bathroom when we arrived would go a long way. Especially for families after traveling.
There is a Mace in Kilkee but Tesco and Aldi are in Kilrush (15mins away) for a bigger shop.

Location of Kikee was amazing. Facilities of tennis court, crazy golf etc was superb. While they needed a little bit of maintenance it was truly superb having them available and onsite.

You need to provide baby gates for the stairs, even if you charge a rental for them. We had to put the base of a cot and a chest of drawers up against the top of the stairs at night time, so our toddler wouldn't fall down. It was honestly a fire hazaplus

I really think there should be stair gates provided for the stairs for anyone that has young kids. Also fence at back isn't very safe for kids. Also showers need up dating. No wi fi in houses either which was a plus for parents but big let down for kplus

The location is excellent. The house over all was in good condition and clean. The moore bay park is lovely. Quite a few privetly owned homes so there's a friendly feel about the place. 10 mins walk and your on kilkee beach. It's not too far and it'splus

Only complaint really would be a few basic things about the house the odd light bulb needed replacing but they could of gone at any stage and the glass panel needed replacing in the front door. It could be a health and safety hazard.
