Lark Rise Holiday Home Glenbeigh is situated in a truly magical Glenbeigh often referred to as “The Jewel in the Ring of Kerry”. It is the ideal holiday location. Whether you are looking for a fun-filled family holiday or a romantic break away, there is something here for everyone.

This 3-bed beautifully located and refurbished house offers relaxing self-catering accommodation and sleeps 6 guests comfortably. The newly refurbished spacious kitchen and breakfast bar is very well equipped for preparing and cooking meals. The dining area seats up to 6 people and is connected to a bright and comfy living room with an open fire and access to the garden overlooking the beautiful countryside.

IMPORTANT NOTES
1. Heating and Electricity:
There is no extra charge during the months of April-September inclusive, and the energy charges are included in the rate you have paid. Between October and March there may be an additional charge, a maximum of €50 per week pro-rata, based on the extra units consumed over those consumed historically, which would be payable from the Security Deposit.
2. Security Deposit:
A refundable security deposit of €200 cash should be paid at check-in to the local Property Manager on arrival.
3. Minimum and Maximum Stay:
This property requires a 7 nights minimum stay in July-August, a minimum 2 nights stay in other months, with a maximum of 21 nights.

Es war sehr viel Platz und alles notwendige vor Ort. Egal ob Waschmaschine und Trockner, Wlan, großzügige Zimmer und von der Terrasse einen wunderschönen Ausblick auf die Berge. Man erreicht vom Lark Rise alles problemlos mit dem Auto. Es liegen viele Flyer im Haus, welche Ausflüge man unternehmen kann. Aber auch die Hausverwalterin Margaret gibt sehr viele Tipps was sich lohnt anzuschauen.

We just had a great week in Lark Rise, near Glenbeigh. The property was well located, quiet, comfortable, clean and had everything you'd need for your stay. We found the accommodation well located, as it was a great central point from which to travplus
We just had a great week in Lark Rise, near Glenbeigh. The property was well located, quiet, comfortable, clean and had everything you'd need for your stay. We found the accommodation well located, as it was a great central point from which to travel to other parts of Kerry, including Killarney, Kenmare, Dingle, Tralee etc.. Being at the start of the Ring of Kerry also allowed us to explore this area of the County. The property is well positioned near to the local village of Glenbeigh (5 minute drive) which has a shop, petrol station, some pubs and cafes etc.. Also just an 8-10 minute drive away from Killorglin which is a larger spot with supermarkets (Aldi and Lidl), restaurants, shops, pubs, petrol stations etc.. Rossbeigh Strand was also a short drive away and good for a walk, as was the local Greenway which has recently opened. We stayed here as a couple with our dog and found it a very comfortable, easily accessible stay.

We had a lovely stay at Lark Rise. Killorglin and Glenbeigh were easily accessible with lovely people and everything you need in the shops and restaurants or takeaways. The beaches in Rossbeigh and Kells were perfect for our family. The house itself was just what we needed. It was really comfortable, very well laid out and the views out the back were breathtaking. Our dog enjoyed the big area to explore and our two kids (3 and 6) had great fun playing in the drive and the garden. The facilities were top of the range. We plan to come back again next summer.

There are beautiful views of the mountains and quick trips to Caragh Lake and surrounds, with stupendous views from the side of Seefin. Lots of superb beach walks (Dooks Beach and Rossbeigh) and accessible Fairy Forest walk (Glenbeigh area) or Lickeen Woods for longer walks. Ard na Shide Recreation Park for woodland or hilltop picnics overlooking Caragh Lake (and Sikha deer if you're lucky) We were blessed with 3 weeks of wonderful weather which made it all extra special. |

The only thing I can think of would be hard flooring in the living /dining area. It would be easier in the pet-friendly home.

This house is very comfortably furnished and has an incredible view of the Irish countryside. Sitting in the living room, reading a book and looking out over this view... fantastic. So if you are looking for peace and quiet, away from a city, this is the place for you. We have chosen this house as our future holiday home and are already looking forward to the next few years.

The location is beautiful and feels set apart despite being so close to services and the incredible drives and towns on the Ring of Kerry and Dingle Peninsula. Everything would be 5 stars except there was a little musty smell, likely coming from the plus
The location is beautiful and feels set apart despite being so close to services and the incredible drives and towns on the Ring of Kerry and Dingle Peninsula. Everything would be 5 stars except there was a little musty smell, likely coming from the carpets and perhaps older furnishings in LR. It was wonderful to have 2 lovely bathrooms, a very comfortable king bed, laundry, and a sparkling kitchen. We did have problems communicating with the host, despite international roaming but that's not the fault of Lark Rise. Margaret was helpful and hospitable. The gps in our rental car was indispensable when communication was limited. Thank you Lark Rise for helping make our Ireland vacation so wonderful!

Hoewel er op de site staat dat er Wifi aanwezig is, was dit er niet. De ontvangst van gewoon internet was ook slecht. Van de eigenaar kregen we een lijst van restaurants en hotels waar we konden internetten.
