Ballybunion Holiday Cottages are a cluster of seaside self-catering holiday homes located less than a 5-minute walk from the stunning blue flag beaches in Ballybunion, County Kerry. This seaside resort is a very popular holiday destination located on the west coast along Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way.
Property layout – Ground floor:
- Open plan kitchen
- Living area with TV and open fire
- Bathroom with a bath with overhead shower
- Bedroom 1: twin sleeping 2

- Bedroom 2: double sleeping 2
- Bedroom 3: twin sleeping 2
- Bathroom with shower unit
There are onsite tennis courts, and plenty of local amenities including a public playground, seaside amusements, indoor pool and leisure centre all within easy reach of Ballybunion Holiday Cottages.
Ample car parking is available.

This is an extra charge which is mostly payable to the Property Manager/Owner. In some cases, energy is charged at a fixed daily rate or a rate per unit on the units consumed or you are required to top up a Pre-Paid Meter while in others, energy charges are included in the rate you have paid. We advise you to check with the local Owner/ Property Manager prior to arrival how this is calculated or prior to making the booking.
2. Security Deposit:
A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid prior to check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorizing your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival. In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.
3.Internet Access:
WIFI is available in Ballybunion Holiday Cottages only from June 1st to August 31st.
4.Towels:
Towel sets are available upon request at a small charge. Please contact our Call Centre or the Property Manager to arrange (you will find the Property Manager's contact details at the Arrival Info document sent to you in the final payment confirmation).

These semi-detached holiday cottages are bright and spacious making them the ideal base for a seaside family holiday or group holiday in County Kerry. We had trouble with the hot water, there was never enough for us all to have a hot shower. Not sure if we were doing something wrong? Tea towels and basic kitchen accessories would have saved us the expense of buying our own.

The house was neat and clean with clean linen and plenty of towels. The house is conveniently located only a few minutes from the beach and restaurants etc. Ballybunion Golf Club is a very short drive.

This was our second year staying at the same house. The location is great. The house is generally comfortable. Bright and spacious. Siobhan has always been very helpful and quick to respond to any question I had or help needed.

There was a used grill and pot in the oven when we went to use it. The kitchen lacks some basic equipment given it’s a self catering house. No proper chopping boards, colander, knives and some other utensils. The outdoor sitting area had two old buckplus

No proper chopping boards, colander, knives and some other utensils. The outdoor sitting area had two old buckets filled with rain water and an old mop. An old bbq set filled with rain water and bits of rubbish and what looked like an old clothes horse. Doesn’t make that area very attractive. The pressure to leave at 10 is certainly felt. Cleaning staff were literally outside waiting for us to go. The way check in and out times are set you really don’t get a proper Saturday there at all. Some of the beds are not as comfy as others and sheets come off the mattress quite easily so maybe some better fitting sheets or upgrades to beds are needed. Next time would really prefer a house not so close to the road.

This is the second year I've stayed in this wonderful house but was disappointed that it's modernisation has not taken place i.e. upgrading of kitchen with new appliances and the introduction of Smart TV. (missed Wimbledon tennis again this year !). |

we really enjoyed spending time at BALLYBUNION. The house was what we were looking for. My only complaint is that the heating system is very expensive. It takes around 30 euros per day to have a good temperature in the house (around 22 or 23°C) We had not planned this budget so we were a little cold this winter.

My family and I stayed here in August, I've 3 kids so we wanted to be able to walk as much as we could, to tire them out, the holiday cottage was about 3 mins walk from the centre if the town, park, beaches, it was perfect. The house itself is very spacious, well equipt and very clean. We really enjoyed our stay.
