Seaside Cottage is set in an idyllic location on the Dingle Peninsula 2.6 km from Ventry in County Kerry. This traditional and rustic stone cottage is one of four unique holiday accommodations located on Ventry Farm.
Refurbished with love and reopened in 2022 these converted 16th-century stables and creameries are sure to offer a charming holiday experience on the west coast of Ireland.
These holiday rentals are ideal for unwinding and relaxing - located on a quiet country road off Slea Head Drive with the stunning views of Mount Eagle and only 400m away from the beautiful Blue Flag Beach.
Secluded Ventry Farm provides four distinctive and unique holiday cottages that can be booked individually or collectively, sleeping up to 13 guests in total. Discover our collection of enchanting holiday cottages, the ideal retreat for a family gathering or group of friends:

Seaside Cottage is a cosy and comfortable self-catering holiday accommodation with scenic views. This property boasts stunning stone walls that add character and charm, complemented by unique flagstone flooring inside, creating a truly distinctive and inviting ambience. Safety note for the property:
- Floor levels: the lounge has several small stairs / steps
- The small mezzanine sleeping area is accessible by a ladder and its head height is only 4 feet high so it might be unsuitable for people with mobility issues / visually impaired / children so extra caution is required.
- The fireplace shown in the bedroom is an original feature but is not operational for health and safety reasons.
- The garden is not enclosed so children and animals should be supervised at all times.

Stylish open plan kitchenette, dining, kitchenette and sleeping area with upstairs mezzanine style bedroom and ground floor double bed:

- Kitchenette with electric hob, fridge, kettle, toaster, pans, glasses, and dishes
- Bed 1 ( located in an open plan living area): double bed sleeping 2
- Bed 2 (located in the open mezzanine area): double bed sleeping 2
- 2 x ground floor bathrooms with shower, toilet, and sink
Extras guests can enjoy at Ventry Farm:
- Private off-road car parking is available
- Central heating throughout
- Free Wi-Fi (low signal)
- Travel cot and high chair, available upon request
- Towels (additional towels or bed linen are available at the extra charge)
A garden area with garden furniture and BBQ is provided.
Clothes drying facilities are available in the garden shed (ideal for wetsuits).
Shared Space:
In addition, guests have access to a common lounge area with a kitchen, living room, and dining area (marked in the gallery as Shared Space). Here you will have access to TV, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, iron, ironing board and clothes horse.
All Cottages have a L'OR Barista Coffee Machine (Nespresso compatible).
Enjoy a bite to eat at the famous Páidí Ó Sé's Pub, a 2-minute drive away. This quaint pub has a strong feeling of tradition, not just from the perspective of sports but also from the visits of notable politicians, actors, and other celebrities. The place exudes a genuine sense of tranquillity in the heart of one of Ireland’s Gaelic-speaking areas. Ventry Inn pub is located in the heart of Ventry village and is a 30 min walk along the beach.

Church farm id a true gem in Dingle surrounded by unspoiled nature. We found the seafside appartement spotless and cosy. Shane even brought us a regular coffeemaker when we did prefer not to use the capsules :) The walk to the beach is very short andver más

The beach at the end of the street is breathtaking…get up before 8 AM to take a walk and watch the sunrise! Absolutely beautiful…the old creamery that the Airbnb was remodeled from has to be one of the coolest places I’ve stayed.

The Beach, and the whole area is gorgeous and quiet, even in cloudy weather.
The cottages are cute and earthy….. Aisling , the on-site manager is very friendly.
Hot water and showers are good, the grounds are lovely and have picnic tables.

The stone floors could use some rugs, the lighting could be better, and the big framed rules for occupants are not attractive in the central places they are hung. The kitchens need to be re-checked for utensils and are built in an inconvenient mannever más

If you don’t like climbing up and down a ladder to a bed on a loft, don't choose the Shamrock cottage.

We had a great time in Ventry, just a quick 15 minute drive to Dingle.

The quick walk to the beach was fantastic! The place was a bit rustic, and we found a few spiders, but nothing to be overly concerned about. The amenities were great, and the welcome treats were appreciated!

Easy walk to the beach and easy ~12-15 minute drive to Dingle. Great spot for exploring the Peninsula. The stone and wood were a fun touch and having the kitchenette in the room plus the additional amenities in the lounge was great.

Only a 10 minute drive from the center of dingle, a 5 minute walk to a beautiful beach, and the slea head drive right there, we couldn’t have asked for a better location for our weekend in dingle. Highly recommend and will definitely stay here again ver más
