FARM VIEW COTTAGE CASTLEREA - DESCRIPTION

Farm View Cottage Castlerea, originally a thatched cottage, is a comfortable holiday home set in a peaceful farming area in the heart of Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands. It is ideally located for lake fishing.

The market town of Castlerea is surrounded by wooded countryside on the banks of the River Suck. It is approximately a 10 to 15-minute drive from the holiday home.

This spacious, detached holiday home has four bedrooms and sleeps six guests. The country-style kitchen connects to the dining room and is equipped for a comfortable self-catering stay. Guests can relax beside the wood-burning stove in the separate living room or enjoy a film with Now TV.

The back door has been widened and fitted with a ramp and handrail. One bedroom has an accessible shower room and WC. Please note that there are two steps leading to the patio.

An enclosed and fenced back garden with garden furniture and a BBQ is available to guests. The garden has two gates that can be opened, while the main garden area is open. Children must be supervised at all times due to the property’s farmland location.

Private parking is available beside the holiday home. Wi-Fi is also available.

Castlerea is the third-largest town in County Roscommon. It is set among wooded countryside on the banks of the River Suck and offers access to walking routes, heritage attractions and the surrounding lakes and boglands.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Utilities are charged separately at this property and must be paid to the Owner/Property Manager on departure. Heating and electricity are charged at €10 per day throughout the year. If these charges are not paid on departure, they will be deducted from the security deposit without further notice. A breakdown of the charges is available from the Owner/Property Manager.

A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 per property must be paid to the local Owner/Property Manager before check-in. This may be arranged by pre-authorising a credit card when guests contact the Property Manager 48 hours before arrival, or it may be collected on arrival. In some locations and at certain times of the year, the security deposit may increase to €500 per property.

For security purposes, Ring cameras are installed at each exterior door, and live security cameras operate around the exterior of the property.
