We liked Bridies cottage. It didn’t bother us to have to drive everyday. View over roundstone bay was gorgeous. Quietness was great.

Spend a week here in June. Used the cottage as a base to explore Connemara. Easy to get into tourist attractions and restaurants as the full summer season was only starting. The local people were very friendly and helpful. The cottage had everything you would want in it. The upstairs bedroom had a low roof which might cause a problem if you were tall.

The cottage was on a small island separated by a bridge. The area was lovely and quiet and there was plenty of birds and hares around. The only drawback was the narrow road into it but you soon learned how to negotiate the way in and where to pull inse mere

Also if you wanted to go out at night it was too far away from nearby pubs and restaurants.

What a little Gem in Connemara, we really enjoyed our stay, views were just amazing.

The Cottage was just so quaint and the area so quiet and peaceful with views from every corner. Also close to Roundstone, Ballyconeely and Clifden which was lovely for food and shops etc.
