We thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet we experienced at Ballyquirke House. The house has a spacious interior and exterior. The rooms were large and comfortable. The kitchen is large and well equipped with plenty of dining space. The lounges are very comfortable. Ballyquirke House feels like a welcoming home. It is only fifteen minutes drive to Spidal and the Wild Atlantic Way. Galway is a ten minute drive and Oughterard, Lough Corrib and the start of Conamara are only fifteen minutes west.

We spent a magical week at Ballyquirke House with our three children (ages 7, 8, and 10). The house more than accommodated our needs. The bedrooms were extremely comfortable, the kitchen had every gadget we could have ever wanted, the spacious livingse mere
We spent a magical week at Ballyquirke House with our three children (ages 7, 8, and 10). The house more than accommodated our needs. The bedrooms were extremely comfortable, the kitchen had every gadget we could have ever wanted, the spacious living spaces allowed us to spread out and relax, and the grounds of the property were gorgeous. The property manager was extremely responsive and very kind, she made our stay so welcoming.
Moycullen is the perfect jumping off point for day trips (a car is essential for this area), and we made it to the Cliffs of Moher, Clifden and Sky Road, Galway City, and more. The area is fantastic for children with Wildlands (an indoor/outdoor adventure course with zip lines) less than 5 minutes away. The town center is walking distance from the house and has restaurants, pharmacies and plenty of grocery options. We could not recommend Ballyquirke House more! It was the perfect vacation. |
