Hotel next door within a min walk and shops and other restaurants within walking distance for adults and older kids than ours. Supervalu, Aldi and other grocery stores in the town. Two good parks for kids play, one within walking distance, other a 4/5 min drive.

The window frame/ledge in the downstairs, off-suite shower needs to be protected somehow, so the wood doesn't rot, nor further mold grows. The front bedroom could also be improved with thicker or blackout curtains. I think it would be very helpful tose mere

I think it would be very helpful to create a manual with photos for how to add funds to the electricity account an explanation of every important switch, such as the circular hot water switch upstairs where you set the hours when the shower water downstairs will be hot (I would have never guessed what this was or how to operate it if not for a Trident long-term resident randomly showing me) how to operate laundry machine and dishwasher etc. An airbnb across the river offered just such a manual by the front door for their house and it was incredibly helpful and saved us from (1) contacting the property manager (2) listening to the alarm blare an hour as we tried to figure out how to add funds to the electricity account and (3) from taking an unnecessary freezing cold shower.

Would like the garden area to be closed off as we we had no privacy in the back and were beside the bins. Also kids felt they could come and kick a ball anytime day or night at our wall as it was so open. Price a bit high for what you get.

Our house (no. 21) seemed to lack some of the basic equipment that was in the other houses e.g. sweeping brush, dish drainer, small sharp knife/knives, kitchen scissors, adequate number of drinking glasses (especially wine glasses) and teaspoons etc.se mere

Never thought to bring tea towels -would be good if that could be mentioned in the advance information. Also, oven gloves/pot holders - not something I would ever think to bring - should really be mentioned in advance. Could have done with separate (kitchen) bin for recycling - would make it easier to separate rubbish and would encourage people to recycle more too. A couple of lights weren't working (probably needed new bulbs.) The markings on the dishwasher and cooker were very worn so they are very hard to read. Same with the markings on the shower in the downstairs bathroom - impossible to see what was cold, hot etc. The curtains and chair covers in the house seemed to be badly stained. Didn't follow up on these things at the time as I only discovered them as the week went on. Also, we were able to borrow things from family members in other houses. Finally, didn't realise until we were leaving that we had to empty bins ourselves - would have thought that would be done by cleaning staff. Apologies for n0t sending you back details about things that were missing etc. before next group was in, but was too tired when I got home. Despite the above, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others. |

Location really good. The size of theses houses are very good and nice quite area. Accommodation itself good and comfortable. Just requires a bit of anfor example chairs in dinning area material coming off, chairs in some of the bedrooms stained . Outdoor area could do with a power wash. Overall would recommend. .

We had to top up the electricity after 2 days and had a fright how expensive that was ! But after few changes we managed to maintain it below 10 euros per day, in the middle of winter, which was fine and the house was always warm.

A bigger selection of crockery, glassware and cutlery and some better saucepans, more glasses and the dishwasher broke down and shorted out the whole kitchen so had no fridge for 12 hours

There is also an issue with air renewal as there is a lot of mould on the walls inside the property on the upper corners and a lot of condensation on the inside of the windows An excellent property Great value |

Bedrooms were very spacious. Kitchen was well equipped. Everything was new. 2 of the showers were not working when we arrived and no light in the main bathroom but this got sorted very quickly on Monday by Trevor who was a gent.

The walk into Killaloe and Ballina was wonderful along the lough. We will book again for a longer stay next time - a perfect destination for a small family!

Trevor our On-site Manager has since confirmed the modem was down during your stay and has since been replaced. We apologies any inconvenience caused throughput your stay. Great place to stay, close to killaloe and lots of space for a family. Place was very clean and even little starter kit to get you going i.e milk coffee loo roll. Love it all only down side is the walls are little thin. So geandvfor ya for the week we were there apart from one might( hear next door coming in from a night out but equally I’m sure they heard our 1 nearly 2 year old at 6 in the morning
