A beautifull house but next to a busy road

As regards the house itself: I loved everything! It is the most beautiful, luxurious self-catering I have ever been in. Clean, full of light, spacious. Claire was extremely helpful and friendly.

I am afraid nothing as the very busy N71 can't be removed.

Relax in Sea Lodge

Great location with small beach across the road, town in walking distance, plenty to see and do in the area. House well equipped (apart from fridge with small ice compartment), garden and outdoor seating areas to enjoy the views over water.

€10 per day electricity in August seems excessive. A fridge freezer would be welcome, and an outdoor clothesline to dry wetsuits etc.

Fabulous location for exploring the beautiful area

The best thing about Sea Lodge is the stunning views out the windows. Watching gannets dive for fish while at the kitchen sink was truly amazing. Waterside walk in to Bantry for a pint of Murphys in "Ma Murphys" bar recommended.

There was no Freezer. We bought a tub of ice cream, and as a result we had to eat it all in one go. (not really a problem!) We had trouble using the oven. Our host Claire helped us out, but could I suggest that the instructions are attached to the wa

A Unique and Lovely Place
