We have stayed in the houses at Ardnagashel before and were really impressed. The cottages definitely lived up to our expectations. These beautifully renovated cottages have gorgeous views over the bay. The proximity to the shoreline is a bonus. Our 2 bed was modern and functional. The Wi-Fi was great. A must these days. A car is definitely needed as they are 10-15 min drive from Bantry. Really enjoyed it.

When we arrived the cottage wasn't ready as they thought we were arriving the next day. As a result I'm not sure the cottage had been properly cleaned. We found lots of crumbs in the kitchen and the cooker was dirty. I think the site manager was v busy as it was the Easter period. The cottages themselves are clean and modern and bed sheets/showers/bathrooms etc all spotless. I think this was just a minor oversight so we didn't say anything locally at the time. The Wi-Fi was a bit dodgy when it rained hard so that's definitely something that needs improving. I'd like to see bigger towels next time. Overall I'd still recommend and would definitely stay again.

The location, at the start of the Beara peninsula. The house, away from the main road. The woods were magnificent in late autumn. Very relaxing stay.

It is our third time to return to these houses, love the area. Yet again both Mary & Martin are there to support & did another fantastic job.

May be a good idea to have vacuum cleaners as standard in each of the houses, especially as they are pet friendly

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Ballylickey. Accomodation was excellent. The manager Mary Cronin was so nice and everything was in great order. Great value.

The signage to the holiday homes could be better. Coming through Ballylickey from Bantry the sign for Ardnagashel is very small. The entrance sign was for Rent an Irish cottage which is confusing if you have booked under Trident Homes! I feel the sig
